The Lincoln Aviator is already an eye-catching SUV, but its good looks have just been given a further upgrade with the new Jet Appearance Package, debuted last week for the 2022 Lincoln Aviator.

Customizability is becoming a more and more important part of a vehicle’s appeal these days, with so many cars on the market and many of them following similar design principles and including similar features. Uniqueness can be difficult to achieve in such an environment. People want to stand out from the crowd, and appearance packages are the perfect solution to that dilemma. The Jet Appearance Package allows customers to take an SUV that already has plenty of high-class appeal and add an appearance of power and sleek style that dials the effect of the whole vehicle up.

The recent Monochromatic Reverse Package was such a success that it prompted the creation of a new appearance package, this one even more attuned to customers’ wants based on the feedback that the Monochromatic Reverse Package received.

The Jet Package replaces the chrome accents of the Monochromatic Package with high-gloss black accents for added drama. The mystique continues with the addition of black painted 22-inch wheels, black mirror skull caps, black roof rails and lower fascia, and body-colored lower cladding and wheel lip moldings, as well as a blacked-out update to the distinctive Lincoln grille. The Jet Package will be available in four sleek colors: Pristine White, Infinite Black, Silver Radiance and Burgundy Velvet.

“Jet Package offers a clean, dramatic look that accentuates the presence of Aviator on the road,” said Earl Lucas, Lincoln’s exterior chief designer. “The black accents emphasize the strong lines and sleek look of the exterior design.”

This new appearance package will be available on the Aviator Reserve next year.
