Lincoln Announces Cas Haley as Winner of Chart Your Course” Campaign

Lincoln announced its “Chart Your Course” campaign as the official launch of its all-new Lincoln Corsair. The new Lincoln Corsair  is a spacious two-row SUV that provides incredible power and a quiet, luxurious ride. The Chart Your Course competition received over 1,600 entries; a panel of judges from the music industry reviewed each entry and narrowed it down to four finalists by mid-November.  Each finalist was introduced to the public who chose the final winner.

“Music is a central part of the overall Lincoln experience, and this competition allows us to celebrate the craft of songwriting,” says Michael Sprague, North America director for The Lincoln Motor Company. “Our Lincoln clients have such an enthusiasm for music. It brings together communities – yet embraces individuality. We’re so excited to have found these artists who feel as much passion for it as we do.”

The four finalists included Anna Field, Edem Garro, Gavin M., and Cas Haley. The prize they were competing for was a talent contract and professional recording session at Capital Studios. The selected winner would also gain access to industry mentors and the opportunity to appear in a national Lincoln Marketing campaign. The public was able to vote throughout January, and they selected Texas native, Cas Haley as the winner.

Cas Haley performed his original song, “Every Road I’m On” to win the competition. The father of two wrote the song while his wife battled a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer. As he took time off from singing on the road to help his wife, he created a positive, stress-free environment for his wife to heal.

“When you’re doing what you love, you don’t get tired,” Cas Haley said. “Just be yourself. Do your best. Those are the words I live by.”
