Lincoln Navigator Sees Sales Success

The all-new Lincoln Navigator is finding much success in the luxury automobile market with the full-size luxury SUV seeing large year-over-year sales increases over the past few months.

The redesigned Lincoln Navigator sold 1,650 vehicles in June 2018, up 18.5 percent from the same month a year prior. Lincoln Motor Company has sold 9,115 Lincoln Navigators to date this year, up from 4,997 at the same time last year.

Retail sales for the Lincoln Navigator were up by 119.7 percent in June, which built upon the momentum from the previous month, where the vehicle saw a 122 percent increase in sales.

Lincoln has attempted to lure buyers to the Lincoln Navigator with the addition of Waze, a community-based traffic app. Technology has been a major selling point for the all-new SUV, with more than 80 percent of vehicles being sold with Lincoln’s Technology Package, which features active park assist, lane departure warning and head-up display.

The connectivity of the Lincoln Navigator brings convenience and added luxury to customers, Lincoln says.

“With Lincoln+Alexa, users can just say the wake word “Alexa” to access content. WAZE can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, while Lincoln + Alexa is available there as well as through Google Play,” the company said in a June statement. “Lincoln+Alexa gives customers access to nearly 30,000 additional Alexa skills, including the ability to play music, check news reports, listen to books, catch up on sports and add items to shopping lists.”

The Lincoln Navigator also lets owners control smart home devices from the vehicle, letting customers prepare their home for their arrival. The technology in the new Lincoln Navigator makes it the ultimate home away from home, giving customers the comfort and luxury they want in their home in the ultimate luxury SUV.
